Role Summary

  • The SAP Ariba L3 Consultant will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Ariba solutions with a strong focus on Sourcing, Commerce Automation (Buying & Invoicing), and Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP).
  • The role requires deep functional expertise, stakeholder management, and ownership of solution delivery across complex procurement transformation programs.

SAP Ariba Sourcing

  • Lead end to end implementation of Ariba Sourcing & Contract Management.
  • Design and configure RFx (RFI, RFP, RFQ), Auctions (English, Dutch, Japanese), Award scenarios and optimization.
  • Define sourcing templates, approval workflows, and governance models.
  • Integrate sourcing with downstream buying and contract processes.
  • Support sourcing events, analytics, and compliance reporting.

Commerce Automation (Buying & Invoicing)

  • Lead Ariba Buying & Invoicing (B&I) implementation and enhancements.
  • Configure Requisition to Order (PR PO), Catalogs (Static, Punch out, CIF), Invoice automation (2 way, 3 way matching).
  • Enable guided buying and user experience improvements.
  • Integrate Ariba with SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
  • Optimize procurement operations through automation and standardization.

Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP)

  • Design and implement Supplier Lifecycle & Performance processes: supplier registration & onboarding, qualification and segmentation, performance scorecards & KPIs.
  • Configure supplier questionnaires, risk assessments, and approvals.
  • Enable supplier collaboration and compliance tracking.
  • Integrate SLP with sourcing and buying modules.
  • Support supplier adoption and change management.

Leadership & Delivery

  • Act as functional lead for Ariba workstreams.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Ariba solutions.
  • Conduct workshops, solution design sessions, and demos.
  • Review functional specifications and configuration quality.
  • Mentor L1/L2 consultants and support knowledge transfer.
  • Coordinate with technical, integration, and SAP Basis teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of SAP Ariba experience.
  • Strong hands on expertise in Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP).
  • Experience integrating Ariba with SAP ECC / S/4HANA.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and P2P processes.
  • Experience with multi country, multi currency deployments.
  • Strong stakeholder and client facing skills.
