Position Overview
A leading UAE real estate developer is seeking a sustainability professional for a client-side position.
The role drives sustainability requirements across major masterplans and individual real estate assets.
The position focuses on design reviews, certification, ESG reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sustainability reviews, certification processes, ESG disclosures, and annual reporting requirements.
- Review sustainability requirements across individual asset projects and large-scale masterplans.
- Set and monitor sustainability targets aligned with project and organisational objectives.
- Advise internal and external teams and provide technical feedback during design development.
- Coordinate with consultants and stakeholders to track compliance and close technical gaps.
- Maintain required certification standards.
- Conduct sustainability audits and assessments.
- Identify opportunities for carbon reduction, resource efficiency, and improved sustainability performance.
- Support GHG emissions measurement, carbon management, and ESG compliance.
- Monitor emerging regulations, technologies, benchmarks, and best practices.
- Lead sustainability workshops and stakeholder engagement.
- Assess sustainability risks and support mitigation strategies.
