Role overview

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, or a related field is requested in the detailed qualifications.

• The role requires at least 5 years of experience in replenishment, inventory management, or supply chain operations and at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with perishable goods, especially fresh produce and floral categories, is highly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP are a plus.

Required capabilities

• Knowledge of inventory management systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems and replenishment software is required.
• Candidates should understand lead-time management, spoilage, seasonal demand fluctuations, inventory forecasting, and replenishment.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, organizational, and detail-oriented skills are required.

Replenishment and inventory

• Lead replenishment for fresh produce and floral products in line with demand forecasts, seasonal trends, sales patterns, and inventory turnover.
• Monitor inventory, shelf life, stock rotation, product quality, waste, and freshness.
• Develop replenishment strategies with demand planning, merchandising, and sales teams.

Supplier and vendor coordination

• Maintain supplier and vendor relationships for fresh and floral categories.
• Coordinate lead times, deliveries, quality control, product availability, sales forecasts, and promotions.
• Resolve product quality, delivery delay, and order-related issues with vendors.

Role scope

• Analyze and solve moderately complex problems and adapt existing methods when needed.
• Understand strategic direction from senior management and make decisions affecting the team.
• Manage small teams or work efforts and interact with clients, peers, and management.
• The role may require rotational shifts.
