About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control, reconciliations, stock valuation, and variance analysis
- Lead monthly closing activities related to inventory, logistics costs, and COGS
- Monitor inventory movements including receipts, transfers, dispatches, returns, damages, and write offs
- Develop and maintain standard costing, landed cost analysis, and profitability reporting
- Control physical stock counts across factories, warehouses, depots, and third party logistics locations
- Identify inventory risks including slow moving, near expiry, damaged, and obsolete stock
- Analyze supply chain costs and partner with Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to drive cost optimization
Requirements
- 4 6 years of experience in inventory accounting, cost accounting, supply chain finance, or financial control
- FMCG, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics industry experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of inventory valuation, costing, COGS analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is an advantage
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- CMA, ACCA, or CPA qualification is an advantage

Supply Chain Cost Controller
- Our client in the FMCG industry is looking to hire a Supply Chain Cost Controller.
- You will take ownership of inventory control, costing, COGS, and supply chain finance activities across manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, depots, branches, and 3PL operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing inventory control, reconciliations, stock valuation, and variance analysis
