- Develop and implement market intelligence framework to maximize competitive advantage
- Collect, analyze, and maintain market intelligence data on supply trends, cost structures, and commodity movements
- Support supplier relationship management framework by monitoring performance indicators, feedback, and audit results
- Develop analytical tools, templates, and reports for market visibility and supplier performance
- Present market research findings to supply teams and management for tender evaluation and negotiations
- Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to understand emerging needs
- Identify high value procurement categories and perform focused research to support negotiations
- Prepare market reports and presentations for Supply Leadership Team reviews
- Coordinate supplier performance reviews aligned with KPIs and contractual requirements
- Monitor key market trends, geopolitical developments, and technological shifts impacting sourcing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, economics, industrial engineering, or science
- 8 years experience in supply chain, procurement, or supplier relationship management with focus on market research or analytics in oil and gas
- Experience in supplier performance monitoring and market intelligence systems
- Knowledge of KPIs and data driven decision making

Job Purpose
- Conduct market intelligence and supplier research to assess market conditions, pricing trends, and cost structures to support sourcing and supplier performance decisions.
- Coordinate and maintain Supplier Relations Management (SRM) procedures and databases to ensure supplier value optimization and compliance with QatarEnergy LNG's procurement governance framework.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Determine, develop, and implement a market intelligence framework to maximize competitive advantage.
- Collect, analyze and maintain market intelligence data on supply trends, cost structures and commodity movements.
- Develop a structured approach to market research to analyze trends for procured materials and services.
- Support and maintain the supplier relationship management framework by monitoring performance indicators, feedback and audit results.
- Develop and update analytical tools, templates and reports for market visibility and supplier performance.
- Conduct and present market research findings to supply teams and management for tender evaluation and negotiations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal customers to understand emerging needs.
- Recommend and support initiatives to enhance supplier relations and streamline SRM processes.
- Assist in identifying high value procurement categories and perform focused research to support negotiations.
- Prepare market reports and presentations with detailed analysis for Supply Leadership Team reviews.
- Coordinate and support supplier performance review aligned with KPIs and contractual requirements.
- Monitor and report key market trends, geopolitical developments, and technological shifts impacting sourcing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business discipline, economics, industrial engineering, or science.
- 8 years experience in supply chain, procurement, or supplier relationship management with focus on market research or analytics within oil and gas industry.
- Experience in supplier performance monitoring, market intelligence systems and data driven decision making.
- Knowledgeable of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and how they are used to enhance supplier relations and performance.
