- Receive Job Orders for service and repair jobs from Service Advisors
- Manage loading and provide detailed explanation and technical justification for additional repairs with cost estimates
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure positive ownership experience
- Raise material requisition for approved additional parts, follow up ordered parts and keep advisors informed
- Ensure adequate number of vehicles received and achieve budgeted target on revenue
- Achieve set target productive efficiency for the month
- Monitor service orders (WIP) and ensure timely billing
- Ensure vehicle ready turnaround time and fix right first time target
- Develop Technician's Skills for cross functionality
- Coach and educate technicians on how to improve their performance & achieve KPI's
- Ensure SOP and workshop Standards are exercised and complied with
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
- 3 to 7 years of experience as a Workshop Supervisor in Automobile Industry
- Experienced in the Dealer Automobile Industry
- Highly Organized and result driven

Job Description
- Supervisor Workshop role at Al Ghurair in Dubai, UAE.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Receive Job Orders for service and repair jobs from Service Advisors
- Manage loading and provide detailed explanation and technical justification for additional repairs with cost estimates
- Make every effort to resolve customer complaints and ensure positive ownership experience
- Raise material requisition for approved additional parts, follow up ordered parts and keep advisors informed
- Ensure adequate number of vehicles received and achieve budgeted target on revenue
- Have flair for selling value added services, tyres, accessories etc.
Operational Responsibilities
- Achieve set target productive efficiency for the month
- Ensure workshop productivity is maximized
- Monitor service orders (WIP) and ensure timely billing
- Ensure vehicle ready turnaround time
- Achieve fix right first time target (FIRFT)
- Ensure Technician's Skills are developed for cross functionality
- Ensure direct subordinates are updated of their daily or weekly performance
- Coach and educate technicians on how to improve their performance & achieve KPI's
- Ensure SOP and workshop Standards are exercised and complied with
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
- 3 to 7 years of experience as a Workshop Supervisor in Automobile Industry
- Experienced in the Dealer Automobile Industry
- Highly Organized and result driven
- Tactical & a decision maker
