The Restaurant Supervisor is a hands-on leader and part of the management team.
The role may suit an ambitious team member ready to step up into leadership responsibilities.
The supervisor may oversee the bar, food pass, hosting, or the whole restaurant depending on service demands.
Service leadership
- Run the restaurant during quieter periods and ensure it operates smoothly and safely.
- Lead from the front during peak periods with ownership of the pass, bar, or floor.
- Resolve guest issues on the floor with a positive solution.
- Motivate and coach the front-of-house team to improve skills and hospitality.
Standards and environment
- Maintain picture-perfect dish presentation and restaurant standards.
- Keep the restaurant safe, clean, and welcoming for team members and guests.
