Airswift is sourcing a Supervisor (Site) - Dredging for a major oil and gas operator.
This is a long-term contract role.
The role is based onshore at a Qatar site.
Schedule
- The working schedule is 5 days per week and 8 to 10 hours per day, or as required by the project.
- The expected start is as soon as possible, typically within one month of notice.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Supervise daily dredging, reclamation, breakwater, quay wall, revetment, jetty, and marine construction activities.
- Monitor contractor, subcontractor, and workforce performance to ensure compliance with project plans.
- Coordinate dredgers, barges, tugs, survey vessels, and supporting marine equipment.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Track dredging rates, depths, excavation quantities, disposal, reclamation levels, and project progress.
- Identify construction constraints and recommend corrective actions.
- Enforce project HSE policies, report unsafe conditions, and support corrective measures.
- Implement inspection and test plans and assist with punch list preparation and closure.
- Verify dredging volumes and quantities with hydrographic and topographic surveyors.
- Prepare daily reports covering workforce, equipment, production, weather, and progress.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in dredging, marine works, reclamation, or port construction projects.
