Supervisor, Drilling (Diamond)

Summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily diamond drilling operations and drilling crews. • Coordinate equipment mobilization, setup, maintenance, and demobilization. • Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and environmental compliance. • Monitor drilling performance, equipment utilization, and project progress. • Train, mentor, and support drilling personnel. • Maintain daily reports and communicate with clients and project teams. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar supervisory role. • Ontario Common Core modules (Supervisor) and specialty underground diamond drill modules. • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. • Solid oral and written communication skills. • Strong computer skills. • Able to work rotation, as well as day and night shifts. • Able and willing to travel as required. • Valid driver’s license required.
• Working Environment: • Working in an office setting. • Travel to work site locations. • Site conditions may include outdoors, dark, wet, inclement weather, and uneven ground. • Sitting for prolong periods of time. • Vehicle - passenger or driver
