Role Overview
The Supervisor-Clinical Operations is a registered nursing professional responsible for overseeing daily nursing services.
The role provides clinical leadership, coordinates staffing and resources, supports compliance, and promotes safe and efficient patient care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily nursing operations and provide leadership to nursing staff across assigned units.
- Monitor patient care, clinical standards, infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage staffing schedules, patient assignments, workforce allocation, supplies, equipment, and care resources.
- Conduct evaluations and competency assessments, coach staff, and support recruitment and retention.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary leaders to optimize patient outcomes.
- Resolve patient care issues and clinical incidents and serve as an escalation point for complex situations.
- Audit nursing documentation and prepare operational reports and records.
