Role Overview
Plan, implement, and oversee educational programs, training initiatives, and learning activities within a healthcare organization.

Education and Staff Development
- Develop and coordinate education and training programs for clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Assess learning and competency needs and identify training requirements.
- Plan and facilitate continuing nursing education, workshops, and in-service training.
- Maintain staff competencies, certifications, and mandatory training compliance.
- Coordinate clinical skills training, simulation exercises, and competency assessments.
- Support staff development and professional growth with Nursing Leadership.
- Evaluate educational programs and recommend improvements.
- Support evidence-based practice and quality improvement through education.
- Assist employees with professional development, specialty certifications, and career advancement.
Compliance and Coordination
- Maintain records of staff training, competencies, certifications, and educational activities.
- Participate in policy and procedure development and educate staff on updates and best practices.
- Coordinate student placements, internships, preceptorship, and mentorship programs.
- Serve as a resource for clinical education, nursing standards, and professional practice.
- Ensure educational activities comply with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct educational audits and track learning outcomes supporting patient safety and quality care.
- Develop interdisciplinary education programs with multidisciplinary teams.
- Prepare reports, training statistics, and educational performance metrics for Nursing Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any related field.
