The hospital includes a Fetal Medicine Department and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit supporting high-risk pregnancies and fragile newborns.

Danat Al Emarat Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled General Practitioner.
The role provides patient-centered healthcare, manages a broad range of medical conditions, and supports continuity of care and appropriate specialist referrals.
The GP works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver clinical outcomes and enhance patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions according to evidence-based clinical guidelines.
- Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and monitor patient progress.
- Provide preventive healthcare, health education, and lifestyle counselling to patients and families.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic investigations.
- Refer patients to specialists and coordinate care when advanced evaluation or treatment is required.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in the electronic medical record system.
- Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and support integrated patient care.
- Support quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical governance activities.
- Comply with hospital policies, DOH regulations, and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited internship program.
- Valid DOH License or eligibility as a General Practitioner.
- Minimum three years of post-internship clinical experience, preferably in a hospital or primary care setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, quality, and safety standards.
