Responsibilities
- Accountable for the complete operation of Ambulance Services and ensure proper level of patient care
- Collaborate with Manager to ensure appropriate policies, protocols, and operational performance
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operated, and safe work practices are followed
- Ensure all required supplies and materials are present
- Accountable for safety and well being of staff, identifying risks related to staff, vehicles, and equipment
- Prepare call volume reports, requests for proposals, and projects under direction of manager
- Assess emergency situations to determine best course of action and appropriate protocol
- Enforce all Personnel policies and handle disciplinary problems as required
- Participate in self and other's education, training and development
- Follow all hospital related policies and procedures
Requirements
- Experience in ambulance services or emergency medical services supervision
- Knowledge of policies, protocols, and operational performance in patient care
- Ability to ensure equipment maintenance and safe work practices
- Ability to prepare reports and handle disciplinary problems

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Accountable for the complete operation of Ambulance Services and ensure the proper level of patient care.
- Collaborates with the Manager, ensures appropriate policies, protocols and operational performance are in place to deliver a safe and high quality patient care.
- Ensures that equipment is properly maintained and operated. Ensures the safe work practices are followed. Ensures that all requires supplies and materials are present.
- Accountable for the safety and well being of staff members within area of responsibility, ensuring risks relating to staff, vehicles, and equipment are properly identified and appropriate action is taken.
- Prepares call volume reports, requests for proposals, and projects under the direction of the manager.
- Assesses emergency situations to determine the best course of action and appropriate protocol.
- Responsible for the enforcement of all Personnel policies, and the handling of disciplinary problems as required
- Participates in self and other's education, training and development, as applicable.
- Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
