- Design, implement, and manage the comprehensive assessment strategy for the PhD Biomedical Sciences program.
- Work directly with the Vice Dean of Graduate Studies and Research in planning and managing the assessment framework.
- Participate in Assessment Committee meetings and provide secretariat support.
- Communicate and coordinate with course instructors, thesis supervisors, and examination boards.
- Assist in formulating and updating assessment policies, examination regulations, and academic standards documentation.
- Track, compile, and file student grades, qualifying examination outcomes, and research milestones.
- Coordinate collection, analysis, and reporting of assessment data for program quality reviews.
- Lead preparation of assessment related documentation for accreditation submissions.
- Provide training and guidance to faculty on best practices in assessment design and rubric development.
- Design and maintain assessment blueprints mapping examination content to program learning outcomes.
- Lead psychometric analysis of examination results and prepare analytical reports.
Requirements
- Experience in designing and managing assessment frameworks for academic programs.
- Knowledge of psychometric analysis including item difficulty, discrimination indices, and reliability statistics.
- Experience with accreditation submissions to national and international bodies (e.g., NCAAA).
- Ability to coordinate with faculty, instructors, and examination boards.
- Strong analytical and report writing skills.

Job Purpose
