Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong problem solving capability by understanding business requirements and exploring multiple solution approaches
- Gain expertise in Marsh AI products and support adoption by delivering trainings and customizing tools using LLM based solutions
- Develop prototypes, proof of concepts, and pilot programs for high priority opportunities
- Develop and deliver engaging short training sessions on AI fundamentals
- Create accessible training materials including presentations, videos, guides, and reference documents
- Provide regular reporting on project status, deliverables, and stakeholder communications
- Support pilot implementations of selected AI solutions, monitoring progress and gathering feedback
- Participate in problem solving sessions to help remove obstacles and address challenges
Requirements
- Familiarity with AI / machine learning concepts and applications
- Basic data analysis experience and comfort working with Excel (or similar analytical tools)
- Experience with business intelligence and/or data visualization tools
- Intermediate capability in building tools in Python, leveraging available AI models where appropriate
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong communication skills; outgoing, collaborative personality
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed an undergraduate or graduate/master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field (preferred)

The Opportunity
- Marsh is seeking a Summer Intern (AI, Data Science) to join a fast paced, innovation focused team working on real business challenges across a global organization.
- This internship offers hands on exposure to AI products and practical data science initiatives, with opportunities to build prototypes, support pilots, and help enable colleagues through training and materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong problem solving capability by understanding business requirements and exploring multiple solution approaches to deliver the desired outcome.
- Gain expertise in Marsh AI products and support adoption by delivering trainings to colleagues and customizing tools and workflows using LLM based solutions where applicable.
- Develop prototypes, proof of concepts, and pilot programs for high priority opportunities.
- Develop and deliver engaging short training sessions on AI fundamentals tailored to different audiences.
- Create accessible training materials, including presentations, videos, guides, and reference documents.
- Provide regular reporting on project status, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
- Support pilot implementations of selected AI solutions, monitoring progress and gathering feedback.
- Participate in problem solving sessions to help remove obstacles and address challenges as they arise.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail in deliverables and documentation.
What You Need to Have (Required)
- Familiarity with AI / machine learning concepts and applications.
- Basic data analysis experience and comfort working with Excel (or similar analytical tools).
- Experience with business intelligence and/or data visualization tools.
- Intermediate capability in building tools in Python, leveraging available AI models where appropriate.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong communication skills; an outgoing, collaborative personality with a willingness to learn and contribute.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed an undergraduate or graduate/master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
