About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned client portfolio, taking full ownership of technical duties related to client accounts
- Partner with Market Fiduciary to support the collection of funds
- Manage day to day Pro Rata processing including post, brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e trading, and renewals
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with Brokers, Clients, and Markets
- Participate in training sessions and contribute to continuous improvement across reinsurance service processing
Requirements
- Insurance/Reinsurance premium and/or claims experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office with competent Excel skills
- Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of technical account structures
- Strong workload management and ability to manage expectations and meet deadlines
- Reinsurance claims experience (preferred)
- Prior experience working within Pro Rata (preferred)
- Experience working in a technical capacity for a Broker (preferred)

The Opportunity
- Our Client Support Services team has an exciting opportunity for a Pro Rata Technician to support our client base through high quality transactional processing and help secure reinsurance recoveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing an assigned client portfolio, taking full ownership of technical duties related to client accounts.
- Partnering with Market Fiduciary to support the collection of funds.
- Managing day to day Pro Rata processing, including Pro Rata post, brokerage receivables, funding and retention, e trading, ad hoc reporting requests, and renewals.
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with Brokers, Clients, and Markets.
- Participating in training sessions and contributing to continuous improvement/troubleshooting across reinsurance service processing.
What You Need to Have (Required)
- Insurance/Reinsurance premium and/or claims experience and a clear interest in moving into the Reinsurance sector.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with competent Excel skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of technical account structures.
- Strong workload management and the ability to manage expectations and meet deadlines.
What Makes You Stand Out (Preferred / Not Essential)
- Reinsurance claims experience.
- Prior experience working within Pro Rata.
- Experience working in a technical capacity for a Broker.
