About the Role

Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal teams to understand existing workflows and identify opportunities for improvement
- Build and maintain internal tools and applications that solve real business problems
- Collect, organize, and validate data from multiple sources
- Analyze and interpret data using Microsoft Excel and internal tools
- Partner with MEA Energy and Power Risk Engineering teams to support risk assessments and client presentations
- Support preparation of presentations and reports and participate in meetings
- Shadow experienced risk engineers during field surveys
- Manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines
Requirements
- Recent graduate with a degree in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite
- Proficiency in a programming language and familiarity with automation tools, APIs, or low code/no code platforms is beneficial
- Comfortable working with data and translating analysis into practical outputs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, eager to learn, well organized, and able to perform well under pressure

The Role
- We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented graduate to join our MEA Risk Engineering / Technology and Innovation team, supporting Marsh Specialty’s Energy and Power Risk Engineering teams.
- This role blends process improvement, digitalization, data analysis, and hands on exposure to risk engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Analysis & Digitalization: Work closely with internal teams to understand existing workflows and processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the design of digital solutions.
- Innovation and Software Development: Build and maintain internal tools and applications that solve real business problems.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, organize, and validate data from multiple sources; analyze and interpret data using Microsoft Excel and internal tools.
- Collaboration with Risk Engineers: Partner closely with the MEA Energy and Power Risk Engineering teams to support risk assessments, insurance submissions, and client presentations.
- Client Support: Support the preparation of presentations and reports and participate in internal and client meetings as required.
- Training & Development: Shadow experienced risk engineers during field surveys to gain practical exposure to risk engineering.
- Tools & Software: Use Microsoft tools to organize data, produce reports, and present findings.
- Organization & Multitasking: Manage multiple priorities effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain well organized records.
Key Requirements
- Education: Recent graduate with a degree in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Technical skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite. Proficiency in a programming language and familiarity with automation tools, APIs, or low code/no code platforms is beneficial.
