Overview
Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology is hiring a Student Information Systems Architect to lead the implementation of Unit4SM as the new Student Information System.
The role involves understanding detailed business architecture, supporting processes, and determining the best approach to digitally automating them.
Job Description
- Lead the implementation of Unit4SM as the new Student Information System.
- Understand detailed business architecture and supporting processes and determine the best approach to digitally automating them.
- Provide input to the Manager in the formation of technical strategy for the replacement of the current SIS and identification of key gaps and provide a roadmap to close those gaps.
- Initiate and participate in projects to evaluate technologies and recommend methods for implementing these plans.
- Work with other teams to identify means to automate and replace current integrations and functionality.
- Assist in the analysis of requirements to support the implementation of a corporate portal to replace our current Student and Staff portals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) year diploma/degree in Computer Science/Systems/Engineering/Information Systems or Business Administration with a Computer Major.
