Position Overview
Prepare, analyze, interpret, and distribute institutional information using business intelligence and database tools.
Ensure institutional information is accurate, complete, and reliable for internal and external stakeholders.
Construct metadata models and reports that adhere to appropriate controls.
Core Duties
- Identify data sources within the data warehouse or other databases.
- Create, test, and maintain data models for required solutions.
- Create, test, and maintain enterprise-level reports and dashboards.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation for team members and end users.
- Perform institutional metric analysis, including enrollment, retention, and student satisfaction analysis.
- Perform financial analysis, including program costing and overhead analysis.
- Provide guidance and support to internal clients on BI tools and self-service practices.
- Troubleshoot enterprise reports and determine requirements for new data requests.
- Research and stay current with relevant practices, products, technology, programs, and tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Required Qualifications
- Three-year diploma or equivalent in Information Technology, Business, or a related analytical discipline.
- Approximately 100 hours of instruction in the listed Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Microsoft Certified Professional, and Microsoft BI areas.
- At least five years of practical experience in reporting, database administration, analytics, or business intelligence.
Schedule
- The position is scheduled for 36.25 hours per week.
- The anticipated start date is September 14, 2026.
Compensation
- The salary range is CAD 41.20 to CAD 47.57 hourly.
