Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise structural construction works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and codes
- Review structural shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical submissions
- Witness inspections and testing activities in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Coordinate with contractors, designers, architects, MEP teams, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues
- Review and provide comments on structural calculations and design modifications
- Supervise reinforced concrete, structural steel, and foundation works
- Review and oversee post tensioning installation activities, stressing operations, tendon layouts, anchorage systems, and quality control
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and schedule requirements
- Participate in technical meetings, progress reviews, and client presentations
- Prepare inspection reports, non conformance reports (NCRs), site observations, and progress documentation
- Support the Resident Engineer in the management and delivery of structural packages
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 8 12 years of professional experience in structural engineering
- At least 5 years' experience in site supervision/consultancy roles on major building developments
- Demonstrated experience in design, review, and supervision of post tensioned concrete structures
- Experience reviewing contractor shop drawings and conducting structural inspections
- Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is advantageous

Job Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our Site Supervision team on a major buildings project.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing structural construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
- A key requirement for this role is demonstrable experience in the design and supervision of post tensioned (PT) structures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is advantageous.
- Minimum 8 12 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
- At least 5 years' experience in site supervision/consultancy roles on major building developments.
- Proven experience in high rise, commercial, mixed use, hospitality, healthcare, or large scale residential projects.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, review, and supervision of post tensioned concrete structures, including flat slabs, beam and slab systems, transfer structures, and PT anchorage systems.
- Experience with post tensioned building structures is an essential requirement.
- Experience reviewing contractor shop drawings and conducting structural inspections during construction.
