Structural Engineer - Federal

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Arlington, VA office as part of our Federal Buildings & Infrastructure team. Collaborating with our expert architects and engineers, you’ll design structural systems for a variety of building types including airports, government and mission-critical facilities, data centers, and large-scale manufacturing facilities. Depending on experience, you will either independently execute design tasks or lead technical efforts, mentor team members, and manage aspects of project delivery. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, code-compliant designs while balancing scope, schedule, and budget. Our global network provides access to subject matter experts and opportunities for cross-regional collaboration and travel.

•Master’s degree in civil engineering with a structural emphasis

•5+ years of relevant buildings-related structural design experience

•Professional Engineer (PE) license

•Proficiency with structural design and analysis software (e.g., ETABS, RISA, RAM)

•Thorough knowledge of building codes and standards (e.g., IBC, ASCE)

•Desire to take independent initiative and ownership of work

•United States citizenship

Ideally, you’ll also have:

•Structural Engineer (SE) license

•Experience with Revit
