Role Overview
Jacobs is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to provide contractual leadership across a major programme at NEOM.
The role focuses on closeout of Work Orders, Service Orders, and standalone contracts, including final accounts, documentation, governance, and financial closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Own prioritised closeout plans and trackers covering status, dependencies, actions, owners, and target completion dates.
- Review contract scope, terms, deliverables, amendments, approvals, and evidence gaps.
- Verify completion and acceptance of services or works and obtain handover and acceptance records.
- Reconcile contract values, changes, commitments, invoices, payments, accruals, and balances across records, Unifier, and SAP.
- Lead final account agreement and closure of variations, claims, disputed amounts, and other commercial matters.
- Assess rectification costs for defects, nonconformances, and incomplete works and incorporate approved financial offsets.
- Confirm contractor deliverables, including reports, warranties, manuals, records, and as-built information.
- Coordinate release or closure of securities, guarantees, retentions, insurances, and other contractual instruments.
- Track defects, residual obligations, post-completion responsibilities, and outstanding actions.
- Prepare closeout recommendations, approval submissions, settlements, final account records, and closure certificates.
- Close purchase orders, Work Orders, Service Orders, and commitments in applicable systems after approval.
