Role Overview
This is an Apprentice Engineer - Water role in a structured one-year training program under the Government of India's Apprentices Act, 1961.
The program provides hands-on experience through on-the-job training within live projects and exposure to technical practices, project delivery, and organizational culture.
Workplace
- The office setup is hybrid, with work split between Jacobs offices or projects and remote locations.
Job Responsibilities
- Complete assigned technical and other identified training successfully.
- Learn and apply wastewater design and modelling, including the impact of codal provisions across multiple regions.
- Prepare specifications and technical reports.
- Assist with engineering calculations, drawings, design work, and modelling of engineering behavior.
- Take responsibility for assigned work and produce high-quality technical output.
- Listen to, understand, and follow instructions.
- Adapt to changing work tasks and locations.
- Complete the Graduate Development Program effectively.
