Role Overview
Join Mira Construction's construction team as a Structural Engineer in the UAE.
The role supports structural design, site execution, inspections, coordination, and construction issue resolution.
Requirements
- At least two to three years of hands-on structural engineering experience in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of structural design, site execution, drawings, inspections, and coordination with consultants and contractors.
- Ability to work in a construction or project environment and coordinate with site teams, consultants, and other disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Review structural drawings, specifications, calculations, shop drawings, method statements, and technical documents.
- Monitor site structural works for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Conduct inspections, identify discrepancies, and resolve structural issues during construction.
- Coordinate structural requirements with consultants, contractors, site teams, architects, MEP teams, and other disciplines.
- Provide technical support, monitor quality and progress, and assist with RFIs, submissions, meetings, and records.
- Ensure structural works follow applicable UAE standards and project specifications.
