Electrical Engineer/Draftsman

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, Electrical Draftsman, MEP BIM Modeller or similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Revit MEP
• Good understanding of electrical building services and MEP coordination
• Experience preparing electrical shop drawings and detailed layouts
• Experience working with BIM models and multidisciplinary coordination
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, shop drawings and technical documentation
• Develop and modify electrical models using Revit MEP
• Prepare 2D drawings and technical details using AutoCAD
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural and other MEP disciplines
• Develop and maintain BIM models in accordance with project requirements
• Review drawings and models for accuracy, coordination and compliance with project specifications
• Identify and resolve design clashes using BIM coordination workflows
• Prepare electrical layouts including lighting, power, containment and other related systems
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders
• Ensure drawings and models are updated according to project revisions
• Support project teams with technical drawings, quantity information and documentation as required
