Job Description
- The Strategy Sourcing Manager II is the lead on major category sourcing initiatives and/or portfolios and execution of the sourcing mandate for assigned portfolio(s).
Day to day activities
- Lead the development and execution of category and sourcing strategies for complex portfolios or multiple related initiatives.
- Lead complex supplier negotiations and commercial decision making for assigned categories or initiatives.
- Synthesize market intelligence, supplier insights, financial analysis, and risk considerations into clear, defensible recommendations.
- Leverage advanced analytics, scenario modeling, and AI enabled insights to accelerate option development.
- Lead a portfolio of work and may span multiple initiatives.
Education & Experience
- Post Secondary Education and / or 7+ years of related experience
- Highly seasoned professional role requiring substantial knowledge of Sourcing and procurement.
