Responsibilities
- Partner with Regulatory reporting operations team to facilitate OTC reporting across various regimes (CFTC, SEC, FINRA, MIFID etc.)
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications considering non functional requirements
- Own and manage traceability of system requirements through design, development, testing, and deployment
- Support testing teams in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results
- Provide operational/process related analysis and support
- Adhere to existing processes/standards including requirements management and technology delivery practices
- Continuously enhance knowledge of business domains and their products/services
- Support implementation and post implementation planning and activities
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
- 7+ years relevant experience
- Expert knowledge of system analysis process and techniques
- Experience with trade lifecycles on OTC derivatives
- Experience working in Agile
- Regulatory reporting, Trade and Transaction reporting experience
- Graduate degree preferred

- Plan, manage, and lead delivery of system requirements in alignment with standards and frameworks.
CUSTOMER
- Partner with Regulatory reporting operations team to facilitate OTC reporting across various regimes (CFTC, SEC, FINRA, MIFID etc.).
- Leverage specialized domain, product, and systems knowledge to understand business and vision.
- Identify, document, and validate current state technology capabilities and support stakeholders to design future state.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to determine solutions and assess impact.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
- Own and manage traceability of system requirements through design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Support testing teams in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results.
- Provide support/oversight and guidance in delivery of technology requirements.
- Promote innovation by applying subject matter expertise.
- Provide operational/process related analysis and support.
SHAREHOLDER
- Adhere to existing processes/standards including requirements management and technology delivery practices.
- Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with leading edge technology trends.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of business domains and their products/services.
- Support and contribute to change management planning and activities.
- Support implementation and post implementation planning and activities.
- Support development of business cases including benefits identification, RFI/RFP and service level agreements.

- Team consists of fellow BSA's; requires expert knowledge on trading lifecycle, regulatory reporting.
- Data expert able to participate in solutions exercise, fact finding (data driven), xml, json and other data transmission templates.

- Expert knowledge of system analysis process and techniques.
- Experience with trade lifecycles on OTC derivatives.
- Expert knowledge of systems and applications supported by the team.
- Expert knowledge of enterprise technology delivery practices and standards.
- Advanced to Expert understanding of business supported and business analysis.
- Provides leadership and guidance, makes recommendations, and collaborates with business and technology.
- Lead technology requirements management for high risk, strategic initiatives.
- Identifies and leads problem resolution for complex technology requirements related issues.
- Leads and provides guidance on identification, maintenance, and reporting of traceability of system requirements.
- Works autonomously as the senior or lead system analyst and coaches/guides members.
- Subject matter expert and consults with clients and/or project various teams.
- Reports to a Senior Manager.
EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATION
- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.
- Regulatory reporting, Trade and Transaction reporting.
- Graduate degree preferred is an asset.
- 7+ years relevant experience.
- Experience working in Agile.
