Role Overview

Financial Ownership

• Lead financial controls and reporting and ensure management information is accurate, complete, validated, and evidence-supported.
• Automate repetitive finance processes with engineering teams.
• Reconcile booking-platform, distribution-partner, bank, and incoming transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable and review supplier invoices and company expenses.
• Oversee statutory filings and corporate compliance across several jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisers, auditors, and banking partners.
• Develop dashboards and evaluate performance across properties, cities, countries, and business units.
• Create budgets, forecasts, financial models, and cash-flow plans.
• Identify risks, revenue leakage, cost-reduction opportunities, and margin improvements.
• Support financial due diligence for acquisitions, investments, and expansion.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and commitment to financial accuracy are required.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts and financial principles is required.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets is required.
• Experience with financial reconciliation, controls, and problem-solving is required.
• Commercial mindset and ability to interpret financial results for the wider business are required.
• Ownership, accountability, independent problem-solving, and adaptability are required.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior management are required.
• Interest in technology, automation, and AI is required.
• Relevant experience in accounting, audit, investment banking, private equity, FP&A, consulting, hospitality, real estate, or a high-growth startup is highly valuable.
• A relevant finance, business, mathematics, or analytical degree is preferred.

First 6–12 Months

• Develop a detailed understanding of financial performance across major business areas.
• Establish dependable monthly management reporting.
• Ensure booking-platform and commercial-partner payments are fully reconciled.

• Automate finance processes and identify cost and margin opportunities.
• Become a trusted financial partner to founders and management.
