What You’ll Do

• Own and improve financial reporting and controls and ensure management figures are complete, validated, and supported.
• Design more efficient workflows and partner with engineering teams to automate repetitive finance processes.
• Reconcile booking-platform, direct-booking, bank, and other incoming payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Track accounts payable and receivable and review supplier invoices and company expenses.
• Manage statutory filings and corporate compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Work with external accountants, tax advisers, auditors, and banking partners.
• Build dashboards, reporting systems, budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Analyze performance by property, city, country, and business unit.
• Monitor cash flow, identify financial risks and revenue leakage, and find opportunities to improve margins.
• Support cost reduction, financial due diligence, landlord statements, acquisitions, investments, and new market launches.
• Present insights and recommendations directly to founders and management.

What We’re Looking For

• The candidate should be highly analytical, comfortable with numbers, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy.
• Strong accounting, financial principles, reconciliation, financial control, and problem-solving skills are required.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and comfort with large volumes of financial and operational data are required.
• A commercial mindset, ownership, accountability, independence, and adaptability are expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort communicating with senior management are required.
• Interest in technology, automation, and AI is expected.
• Relevant experience in accounting, audit, investment banking, private equity, FP&A, consulting, hospitality, real estate, or a high-growth startup is highly valued.
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related analytical field is preferred.

Expected Progress

• Within 6–12 months, the analyst is expected to understand company-wide financial performance and create reliable monthly management reporting.
• The analyst is expected to improve visibility into cash flow, profitability, and unit economics and identify cost and margin opportunities.
• The analyst is expected to automate manual finance processes and become a trusted partner to founders and management.
