Role Overview

What You’ll Do

• Own and improve daily financial reporting and controls.
• Design more efficient finance workflows and partner with engineering teams on automation.
• Reconcile payments from booking platforms, direct bookings, and other distribution channels.
• Reconcile bank accounts and incoming payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Track accounts payable and accounts receivable and review supplier invoices and expenses.
• Manage statutory filings and corporate compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Work with external accountants, tax advisers, auditors, and banking partners.
• Support landlord and property-owner financial statements where required.
• Build dashboards and reporting systems for management visibility.
• Analyze performance by property, city, country, and business unit.
• Build budgets, forecasts, and financial models and monitor cash flow.
• Identify risks, revenue leakage, cost reduction opportunities, and margin improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles.
• Comfort working with large volumes of financial and operational data.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Strong reconciliation, financial control, and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial mindset and ability to understand business implications of financial results.
• High ownership, accountability, independence, and adaptability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including communication with senior management.
• Passion for technology, automation, and AI applied to finance processes.
• Relevant experience in accounting, audit, investment banking, private equity, FP&A, consulting, hospitality, real estate, or a high-growth startup is highly valued.
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related analytical field is preferred.

Success in the First 6–12 Months

• Build a strong understanding of financial performance across the business.
• Create reliable monthly management reporting.
• Ensure booking-platform and partner payments are accurately reconciled.
• Improve visibility into cash flow, profitability, and unit economics.
• Identify meaningful cost reduction and margin improvement opportunities.
• Automate previously manual finance processes.
• Become a trusted financial partner to the founders and management team.
• Take ownership of increasingly important parts of the finance function.
