Store materials, tools, and equipment to support smooth project operations.
The role focuses on receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking materials for joinery and fit-out work.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
- Maintain organized storage of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Issue materials to production and site teams against approved requests.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
- Maintain inventory records and update stock registers.
- Conduct stock checks and assist with periodic inventory audits.
- Label stored items and ensure safe handling.
- Coordinate material requirements with procurement and project teams.
- Keep the store area clean and orderly.
Requirements
- Proven Storekeeper experience is required, preferably in fit-out, joinery, or manufacturing.
- Five years of joinery or fit-out experience is required.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures is required.
- The ability to maintain records and prepare simple reports is required.
- Familiarity with warehouse or store management systems is advantageous.
- Good organizational and communication skills are required.
- The ability to work under pressure and handle multiple requests is required.
Workplace and Employment
- The role is full-time.
- Work is performed in person.
