About the Company

We are a Dubai-based interior fit-out company specialising in luxury retail, hospitality, commercial interiors, joinery, and metal works.

We are looking for an experienced Painting Section Head to lead our painting operations for joinery and metal works and ensure high-quality finishes are delivered within project timelines.

The Painting Section Head will be responsible for the overall supervision, planning, manpower control, quality, productivity, and timely completion of painting works for joinery and metal components.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of luxury fit-out painting systems, excellent manpower-management skills, and the ability to lead a team and achieve production targets under tight deadlines.

• Lead and supervise the complete painting section for joinery and metal works.
• Plan daily and weekly painting activities based on production and project requirements.
• Allocate manpower and delegate tasks effectively to painters, spray painters, helpers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure consistent manpower availability and productivity within the section.
• Monitor the complete painting process, including surface preparation, sanding, priming, puttying, spray painting, PU, lacquer, polishing, and finishing.
• Ensure painting works meet required luxury fit-out and client quality standards.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Joinery, Metal, QA/QC, and Project teams.
• Identify technical issues and provide practical solutions to avoid delays and rework.
• Monitor material consumption, tools, equipment, and wastage.
• Ensure jobs are completed within the agreed production schedule and required quality.
• Inspect finished works and ensure defects are rectified before submission to QA/QC or the project team.
• Train, guide, and motivate painters and supervisors to improve productivity and workmanship.
• Maintain discipline and ensure proper utilization of manpower.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Prepare progress updates and communicate manpower or production issues to management.

• 5–10+ years of relevant experience in painting operations, preferably within luxury interior fit-out, joinery, furniture, or metal works.
• Strong technical knowledge of joinery and metal painting systems and finishing techniques.
• Proven experience managing a large team of painters and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of surface preparation, primers, fillers, PU, lacquer, spray painting, polishing, and decorative finishes.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, finishing schedules, and project requirements.
• Strong leadership and manpower-management skills.
• Ability to delegate tasks, control manpower, and achieve daily production targets.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
• UAE/GCC luxury fit-out experience will be an advantage.

We are looking for a strong and hands-on Painting Section Head who can take ownership of the section, effectively control manpower, maintain consistent productivity, and ensure that every finished item meets the required luxury finish standard.
