The storekeeper helper supports the organization and maintenance of a warehouse containing spare parts, wear parts, tools, and consumables.
Use of a computerized maintenance management system is a key daily function.
Job Responsibilities
- Support operations and maintenance personnel with work prioritization and maintenance coordination.
- Review delivery schedules, track inventory levels, and support timely ordering of supplies.
- Help maintain facility equipment, especially tools.
- Set up and pre-stage warehouse parts and help locate and retrieve parts to expedite work.
- Maintain CMMS records and prepare purchase requests for spare and wear parts.
- Support the annual inventory of parts, consumables, and tools.
Education and Training
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- An apprenticeship or electronic technical school diploma is required.
- Forklift operator training and certification are preferred.
Job Experience
- Knowledge and experience using a computerized maintenance management system are required.
- At least one year of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping is required.

- Use practical knowledge of processes and practices in the functional area.
- Demonstrate storekeeping, recordkeeping, and inventory control capability.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize work to meet quality and deadline standards.

- Work cooperatively with team members from different cultures and backgrounds.
- Read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
