Overview

  • We’re urgently looking for a reliable and detail oriented Storekeeper with strong experience in inventory management and warehouse operations, ideally within the marine or oil & gas industry.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents, and reporting any damages, shortages, and discrepancies.
  • Unloading, organizing, labeling, and storing materials systematically in designated locations following proper handling practices.
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date inventory records using manual and digital systems.
  • Issuing and dispatching materials to operational teams in a timely and controlled manner.
  • Conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Preparing and maintaining documentation such as stock registers, delivery notes, and reports.
  • Ensuring warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards at all times.
  • Operating material handling equipment safely and ensuring proper use of lifting tools and gear.
  • Adhering to Permit to Work (PTW) systems and maintaining awareness of all related procedures.
  • Applying ADNOC Life Saving Rules and maintaining a strong HSE mindset in all activities.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and processes.
  • Coordinating effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and supervisors.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • 5 6 years proven experience in storekeeping, warehousing, or inventory control, preferably in marine, offshore, or oil & gas environments.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and ERP software (e.g., MS Excel).
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse safety standards, material handling, and lifting operations.
  • Understanding of Permit to Work systems and HSE practices is an advantage.
  • Good organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks when required.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., forklift operation, inventory, or HSE training) are preferred.
