Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll for onshore and offshore employees
- Maintain payroll master data and process salary changes, allowances, deductions, etc.
- Generate salary transfer files and coordinate payroll payments with banks
- Maintain accurate employee and crew bank records
- Prepare and distribute monthly payslips and respond to payroll queries
- Perform payroll validations, reconciliations, variance analysis, and accounting entries
- Support WPS, pension contributions, statutory submissions, and audit requirements
- Prepare payroll, financial, and management reports
- Coordinate payroll activities with HR, Finance, Crewing, ICT, and operations
- Identify and implement payroll process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of payroll experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of UAE payroll regulations, WPS requirements, gratuity calculations
- Understanding of offshore vessel operations and related payroll processes
- Experience with ERP systems and strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

Payroll Accountant Role
- Responsible for accurate and timely processing of payroll for onshore and offshore employees.
- Ensures compliance with UAE regulations, WPS requirements, and company policies.
- Role includes payroll administration, accounting, reconciliations, statutory submissions, and employee support.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll for onshore and offshore employees.
- Maintain payroll master data, process salary changes, allowances, deductions, overtime, leave salary, gratuity, end of service benefits, and final settlements.
- Generate salary transfer files (SIF), prepare bank transfer instructions, and coordinate payroll payments.
- Maintain accurate employee and crew bank records and resolve payment issues.
- Prepare and distribute monthly payslips and respond to payroll queries.
- Perform payroll validations, reconciliations, variance analysis, and payroll accounting activities.
- Support WPS, pension contributions, statutory submissions, year end payroll activities, and audit requirements.
- Prepare payroll, financial, and management reports.
- Coordinate payroll activities with HR, Finance, Crewing, ICT, and operational departments.
- Identify and implement payroll process improvements.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of payroll experience in a similar role, preferably with exposure to onshore and offshore payroll operations.
- Knowledge of UAE payroll regulations, WPS requirements, gratuity calculations, end of service benefits, and payroll compliance.
- Understanding of offshore vessel operations and related payroll processes.
- Experience working with ERP systems and strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
