Job Description
The Stewarding Shift Leader organizes and directs a team supporting high-quality food and beverage products and prompt, accurate, personalized service.
The role is responsible for cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, safety, and equipment standards in food processing facilities.
Stewarding Supervision
- Supervise the duties of all stewarding department employees.
- Supervise daily consumption of stewarding chemicals.
- Supervise sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene, and product and service quality.
- Ensure employees follow safety instructions while cleaning machinery.
Equipment and Safety
- Check that service and kitchen operating equipment is properly cleaned.
- Control and document outgoing equipment and ensure proper receipt upon return.
- Keep emergency exits clean, unobstructed, and easy to open from inside.
Administration and Communication
- Participate in monthly and annual inventory activities.
- Prepare payroll-related documents before submission to the department head.
