Job Description
The hotel is seeking a passionate and dynamic kitchen professional who can deliver high service standards and creative solutions for guests.
The Chef de Partie is responsible for daily food preparation and assigned duties that meet established standards and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily mise en place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen or satellite kitchens.
- Coordinate daily tasks with the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
- Follow instructions from immediate superiors to complete daily tasks.
- Maintain consistent quality in daily preparation and stay current with new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.
- Instruct and lead subordinates in daily food preparation requirements.
- Participate in buffet and special-function setup and supervision.
- Coordinate with other sections on cleanliness, wastage, and cost-control requirements.
- Check daily requirements, functions, and last-minute events.
- Guide and train subordinates to support motivation and economical working practices.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- A professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course is expected.
