Job Description
The employer is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Recreation Attendant to support health club operations and guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Keep the main and children’s swimming pools and complete health club area clean, and report maintenance issues.
- Keep sun lounges clean and free of debris during operations.
- Sweep and water down the pool deck, and position furniture during morning setup.
- Assist guests arriving at Bodylines and support potential new members with facility tours.
- Assist with cleaning all operational areas.
- Check changing rooms regularly and remove litter and used towels.
- Report guest complaints to superiors immediately.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- A diploma or vocational training in sports or leisure is preferred.
- Previous work experience within a hotel is preferred.
- Ability to swim is essential.
- Physical fitness and ability to work long hours outdoors are essential.
- Good command of English and good interpersonal abilities are advantageous.
Knowledge and Competencies
- Customer-driven guest service and complaint-handling abilities are valued.
- The role emphasizes teamwork, responsibility, adaptability, customer focus, and working effectively under pressure.
- The role involves working with a multicultural team and guests.
