Job Description
Support daily kitchen operations and food preparation while meeting hotel standards and quality requirements.
Contribute to guest service by delivering consistent, high-quality food preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in daily operations.
- Work according to menu specifications from the Chef de Partie.
- Keep the work area hygienic according to hotel rules.
- Control food stock and food cost in the assigned section.
- Prepare daily mise en place and food production in kitchen sections.
- Follow instructions from immediate supervisors to complete daily tasks.
- Maintain consistent preparation quality and learn new products, recipes, and techniques.
- Coordinate with other sections on cleanliness, wastage, requirements, and cost control.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- Professional kitchen apprenticeship or chef training course is required.
- Previous experience in quality establishments is required.
- Good culinary skills are required.
- English communication and knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and preservation are essential.
