Stewarding Shift Leader

Position Overview

Stewarding Operations

• Organize chemicals, supplies, pots, pans, serving spoons, utensils, and storage racks.
• Rotate stock, move wares from storage, collect dirty pans, and return cleaned items to proper locations.
• Complete cleaning checklists and clean sanitation areas, loading docks, dish rooms, ceilings, walls, and vents.

Equipment and Safety

• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand-wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors.
• Follow safety and security procedures, report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
• Maintain professional appearance, protect company assets, and keep proprietary information confidential.

Team Support

• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
• Communicate professionally, maintain positive working relationships, and support team goals and quality expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience, license, or certification is specified as required.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and reach overhead or below the knees while bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
