Responsibilities
- Assist the stewarding supervisor in cleaning of F&B equipment, facilities, and utensils
- Ensure cleanliness of all washing up and cleaning machinery and that equipment is in proper working order
- Learn the fire and safety precautions and in particular those concerning the machinery and equipment used in the dish washing and kitchen areas
- Use cleaning materials and chemicals in a proper and economical manner
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- Ensure that through efficient work practices a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is achieved
- Attend training sessions and / or departmental meetings if and when assigned
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment
- Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests
- Always maintain positive guest relations
Requirements
- Ability to assist in cleaning of F&B equipment, facilities, and utensils
- Vigilant and aware of individual responsibilities of HACCP
- Ability to work closely with Chefs and F&B Department associates
- Knowledge of fire and safety precautions concerning machinery and equipment
- Ability to use cleaning materials and chemicals properly and economically

Your Role
- To assist the stewarding supervisor in cleaning of F&B equipment, facilities, and utensils, as well as the return of cleaned items to the respective area and proper storage.
- Ensure full liaison with other members of the Stewarding team.
- Strong communication with associates within the department.
- Key relationship with the Chefs and F&B Department associates.
- Ensures cleanliness of all washing up and cleaning machinery and that equipment is in proper working order.
- Learns the fire and safety precautions and in particular those concerning the machinery and equipment used in the dish washing and kitchen areas.
- Uses cleaning materials and chemicals in a proper and economical manner.
