Responsibilities
- Assist stewarding supervisor in cleaning F&B equipment, facilities, and utensils
- Return cleaned items to respective areas and ensure proper storage
- Ensure cleanliness of all washing up and cleaning machinery
- Learn fire and safety precautions and operate kitchen firefighting equipment
- Use cleaning materials and chemicals properly and economically
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of work areas
- Attend training sessions and departmental meetings as assigned
Requirements
- Knowledge of HACCP and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks

Your Role
- Assist the stewarding supervisor in cleaning of F&B equipment, facilities, and utensils.
- Return cleaned items to respective area and proper storage.
- Be vigilant and aware of individual responsibilities of HACCP.
- Ensure full liaison with other members of the Stewarding team.
- Strong communication with associates within the department.
- Key relationship with the Chefs and F&B Department associates.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with other departments.
- Ensure cleanliness of all washing up and cleaning machinery and that equipment is in proper working order.
- Learn fire and safety precautions and how to operate kitchen firefighting equipment.
- Use cleaning materials and chemicals in a proper and economical manner.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
- Attend training sessions and/or departmental meetings if assigned.
