Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware according to hotel standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, stores, and back of house facilities
- Operate dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal in line with hygiene and environmental standards
- Support chefs by ensuring timely availability of clean equipment and utensils
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations strictly
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies as required
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor immediately
- Comply with health, safety, and security policies of the hotel
- Support special events and banquets as required
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Steward in a luxury environment
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
- Strong sense of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Reliable, disciplined, and hardworking
- High school or equivalent
- 3 years of experience as a Steward in luxury hospitality
- English language proficiency
- Must be located in Doha

Overview
- The Steward supports the culinary and food & beverage operations by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization within kitchen and back of house areas of a fine dining restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware according to hotel standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, stores, and back of house facilities at all times.
- Operate dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
