Responsibilities
- Monitor and provide care to patients at CCAD within the Integrated Surgical Institute – Plastic Surgery specialty
- Prescribe or administer medication, therapy and other specialized medical care
- Analyze records, reports and test results to diagnose patient’s medical condition
- Interact with patient to gather additional history and information about medical condition
- Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patient
- Provide specific treatments and/or perform operations to treat patient medical conditions
- Evaluate patient and record applicable notes about patient’s condition
- Liaise with other medical and non medical staff at CCAD to ensure quality patient treatment
- Perform surgical procedures and operations as appropriate
- Supply and provide care in a culturally appropriate and sensitive manner
- Follow ethical and regulatory guidelines
- Take part in administrative functions such as committees, task forces and performance improvement measures
Requirements
- MD, MBBS, MBChB from an accredited Institution and completion of specialty qualification as per the Recognized Specialty Certificate table
- For Tier 1 countries: not less than two (2) years additional experience post qualification
- For Tier 2 countries: not less than five (5) years additional experience post qualification
- Must hold a valid License/Registration to practice in home country and/or country of last employment
- Should meet the Maintenance of Certification requirements (where applicable)

JOB SUMMARY
- Physician position responsible for applying medical knowledge and skills to the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of illnesses for patients within the Integrated Surgical Institute – Plastic Surgery specialty at CCAD
- Treats patients directly and/or may make referrals to different members of the health care professional team
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitors and provides care to patients at CCAD within the Integrated Surgical Institute – Plastic Surgery specialty
- Prescribes or administers medication, therapy and other specialized medical care
- Analyzes records, reports and test results to diagnose patient’s medical condition

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- For Physicians from Tier 1 countries, not less than two (2) years additional experience post qualification
- For Physicians from Tier 2 countries, not less than five (5) years additional experience post qualification
- Must hold a valid License/ Registration to practice in their home country and/or country of last employment
- Should meet the Maintenance of Certification requirements (where applicable)
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- MD, MBBS, MBChB from an accredited Institution and completion of specialty qualification as per the Recognized Specialty Certificate table listed in Healthcare Professionals Qualification Requirements 2024
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Typical physical demands include a High degree of dexterity to produce materials on a computer and mobility sufficient to attend meetings in clinical Divisions throughout CCAD
