Job Description
- We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Emergency Department team.
- The role involves delivering direct patient care, including assessment, treatment, and evaluation, while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- The ideal candidate will uphold the highest standards of clinical practice and provide physical and psychological support to patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments, triage patients, and provide timely interventions.
- Monitor patients’ progress, document findings, and modify care plans as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide handover reports using SBAR and maintain clear communication.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and post discharge care.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Report incidents/near misses and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all patient care activities.
- Triage and assess patients following established protocols.
- Provide immediate care for emergency cases, including minor procedures.
- Assist physicians with diagnostic tests and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Valid UAE License or eligibility.
- Current BLS, ACLS & PALS certification.
