Role Overview
Build the Identity Security Fabric for the agentic era as a Staff Fullstack Engineer on Okta Secures AI.
Design, build, and maintain backend services and frontend interfaces for secure, interoperable, and scalable agent access.
Okta Secures AI Team
The team is building identity security infrastructure for AI agents and a unified control plane for authenticated, authorized, and audited access.
Its work focuses on enabling AI agents while enforcing least privilege for every agent action.
Authorization and Policy Engineering
- Shape technical strategy and prioritize work streams for securing AI agents.
- Build the Runtime Policy Decision Point at the Agent Gateway and agent-to-resource connection levels.
- Evaluate every agent request against per-agent, per-tool, and per-resource rules.
- Connect no-code policy authoring output with directly published API policies using schema validation and evaluation.
Identity, Logging, and Engineering Practices
- Validate which employees a delegated agent may represent and securely forward the acting user's identity downstream.
