About the Role
The Okta Secures AI team is building an Identity Security Fabric for the agentic era.
The Staff Fullstack Engineer will design and drive unified control-plane features that secure AI agent access.
The role actively designs, builds, and maintains backend services and frontend interfaces.
What You'll Do
- Shape technical strategy and prioritize work streams for securing AI agents.
- Build the Runtime Policy Decision Point and request-time authorization engine at the Agent Gateway and agent-to-resource connection level.
- Evaluate agent requests against per-agent, per-tool, and per-resource policies.
- Connect no-code administration UI output with API-published policies through authoring, schema validation, and evaluation.
- Validate delegated-agent representation of employees and securely forward acting-user identity downstream.
- Build audit logging for every request outcome and its decision rule or reason.
- Advance AI-native development practices across design, review, and software delivery.
- Drive improvements in CI/CD, observability, documentation, reliability, and support processes.
- Partner with Product and Design on customer outcomes and invest in peer engineer growth.
