Responsibilities
- Design and oversee development of robust end to end ML architecture
- Define long term roadmap strategy for AI infrastructure and orchestration framework
- Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of AI/ML ecosystem
- Set standard for MLOps ensuring ML ecosystem is testable, maintainable, and scalable
- Cross functional leadership with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers
- Act as force multiplier by conducting high level design reviews and mentoring engineers
- Architect and evolve LLM powered applications including RAG pipelines and multi step reasoning workflows
- Design and implement robust evaluation frameworks for GenAI systems
- Drive best practices for prompt engineering, agent design, and orchestration frameworks
- Establish guardrails and safety mechanisms for GenAI applications
- Establish golden path for model versioning, A/B testing, and automated rollbacks
- Ensure AI architectural strategy aligns with industry best practices and security policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent deep professional experience
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- At least 4+ years architecting and deploying ML models in production at scale
- Proven experience operating at a Staff or Senior level, including technical leadership, architecture ownership, and mentoring engineers
- Deep expertise in MLOps and production ML systems
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit learn)
- Experience with CI/CD and ML deployment pipelines
- Familiarity with LLM based systems and GenAI applications
- Experience designing and implementing RAG systems
- Experience building agentic workflows
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Staff Developer AI/ML Role
- You will work in an outcome driven environment collaborating with product, design, and engineering.
- The Staff AI/ML Engineer will be the technical anchor for ML and AI efforts, leading GenAI strategy.
- This role bridges theoretical research and production grade engineering.
What You’ll Do

- Familiarity with LLM based systems and GenAI applications.
- Strong understanding of LLM architectures and trade offs.
- Experience with prompt engineering and prompt orchestration.
