EDGE Commercial is seeking a Senior Specialist in Business Development for its advanced technology and defence portfolio.
The role supports market development, opportunity identification, customer engagement, and strategic partnerships in Abu Dhabi.
Key responsibilities
- Identify new market and business development opportunities.
- Conduct market, customer, and competitor research.
- Support opportunity qualification and pipeline management.
- Prepare customer presentations, business cases, and market assessments.
- Support customer engagements, events, and strategic partnerships.
- Coordinate with technical and commercial teams to progress opportunities.
- Maintain CRM data and pipeline reporting.
What we are looking for
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Defence, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Commercial, Strategy, or related roles.
- Knowledge or experience in several areas including C5ISR, intelligence fusion, sensing and intelligence, AI, autonomy, missiles, weapons, and multi-domain systems.
- Knowledge of one or more EDGE clusters or similar systems.
- Experience in the defence sector and in one or more relevant EDGE capability areas.
- Defence, aerospace, advanced technology, or security sector experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, research, communication, and presentation skills.
