About The Role
The Configuration Officer for Halcon executes Configuration Management activities across one or more programs.
The role ensures the integrity, traceability, and control of configuration items throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Configuration Management Plans across multiple programs.
- Manage configuration baselines for systems, hardware, software, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Configuration Management processes, procedures, and ANSI/EIA-649 standards.
- Conduct configuration audits, status accounting, reporting, and change control activities.
- Maintain full product traceability.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 7 years of hands-on Configuration Management and/or Document Control experience in a systems engineering or technology-driven organization.
- Advanced knowledge of ANSI/EIA-649 Configuration Management principles and Systems Engineering processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent engineering qualification.
- Aerospace or Defence industry experience is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Defence program experience is preferred.
- Experience in regulated engineering environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with configuration audits and quality management processes is preferred.
